Samsung Galaxy S III Mini specifications have been unearthed by
German site Mobilegeeks, and if you expected a powerhouse, you’re in for
a disappointment.
The Galaxy S III Mini is not — as some may have hoped — just a
smaller version of the powerful Samsung Galaxy S III. According to Mobilegeeks, it has a 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and a 5-megapixel camera on the back.
The screen size is 4-inches, which for some might be an improvement
over the Galaxy S III’s huge 4.8-inch form factor, but the resolution is
a paltry (by today’s standards) 800×400 pixels.
Finally, the Mini has EDGE/GPRS/HSPA connectivity, 16GB of storage
(expandable to 32GB via MicroSD memory cards), a MicroUSB port, a 1500
mAh battery, and it’s all powered by Android 4.1 or Jelly Bean.
The device, primarily aimed for the European market, will cost 399 euros ($510).
